caddyfan16
I have begun my search for a clean classic Cadillac model years 1971-1993. I'm looking for a car with great eye appeal, reliability for its age, and excellent ride and drive. I'm not seeking a collector car - just a very clean, well maintained model I can get into and start my Cadillac hobby and fun times. Please feel free to suggest models I should consider, and if you know of one for sale, I'd welcome that information, too. I am partial to the Cadillacs of the 80's - I know not always the best choices, but I grew up with those. But I'm open to your suggestions! Thank you for this forum. caddyfan16
On an older Caddy (91-93) that has the 4.9 and has been serviced regularly and shows excellent care, would 100k miles be too high?
BodybyFisher
The 92 Eldorado and Seville, changed its body style, it still has the 4.9 but the styling got rave reviews. 92 Eldorado 92 Seville Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

BodybyFisher
By the way, that 92 styling stayed pretty much the same till the Eldorado was terminated in 2002. Cadillac Jim
I believe that the 1992 STS/ETC was the Motor Trend Car of the Year, with the 4.9. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
