Bruce Nunnally
You may not recognize the name Edmund Burke, but he has a quote that is befitting to Cadillac and its current predicament. It reads, ‘The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Essentially, Burke is trying to tell humanity that apathy is a bad trait to become accustomed to. BodybyFisher
Are Cadillacs sales statistics that bad? If they are bad could it be due to the floundering economy? I disagree with this article in many ways specifically that they were junk prior to 2000. I tried to see who this writer was but couldnt get any info on him, but he looks very young Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
Bruce Nunnally
Cadillac sedan sales are down this year, and overall sales are down 9.5%. Competitor sales at BMW are also down 9% for the year. In general, sedans sales are off and crossover or SUV sales are up due to lower gas prices. Cadillac was caught with new sedans and not new and more crossovers, until the XT5 arrived recently. BodybyFisher
I think the economy is in very very bad shape. Unemployment statistics are padded to look good and uncertainty runs rampant.
