Bruce Nunnally
http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/news/a26304/no-cadillac-ats-v-v8/While we were driving the Cadillac ATS-V yesterday, the discussion shifted to building an even faster version of the car, like Mercedes does with its AMG Black Series or BMW does with an M3 CSL. The rumor has been out there that a faster ATS would get the LT1 V8 from the Corvette, but during our track test of the V, we were told that if they were to produce a faster ATS-V, it would not have a V8. Bruce Nunnally
The 2016 Cadillac ATS-V Is More of an M3 Than an M3 It's all about balance. http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/road-tests/a26302/2016-cadillac-ats-v-test/ Quote Bruce 2016 Cadillac ATS-V gray/black Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
Cadillac Jim
This is all because of something that GM has been all about since WW II: each model is designed and built as a whole, not just a selection of parts.
