Brian Mullins Posted June 22, 2015 Report Share Posted June 22, 2015 Car high Idles only code it gives is P0300 makes no sense to me why the code. Idles at 900 RPM. Someone told me to disconnect battery and touch the cables together to reboot the computer did that with no luck. Is there anything else I can try. Oh yea also shot brake cleaner around the throttle body idles higher but also returns to 900 RPM. Any help would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A loose oil filler cap is a vacuum leak, too, as is an oil dipstick that is not pushed all the way in.
