Bruce Nunnally
Here are some ideas for topics for our Cadillac Chat Thursday evening at 7:30 PM Central Time (8:30 PM Eastern): The new CT6 was at the NY auto show, with full details. Cadillac Extends the Top of its Range with CT6 The March sales report is out: Cadillac March Sales Feature High Transactions and ExclusivityCadillacs are selling on average for 20% more than last year. Part of the reason for that is the mix. Escalade sales are up over 100% with a new design, plentiful oil and relatively low fuel prices. XTS and SRX were over half the total sales, with the ATS and CTS each individually selling fewer cars than the Escalade subtotal. What does America want? Big Cadillac SUVs, midsize Cadillac Crossovers, and large Cadillac sedans. http://caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-march-sales-feature-high-transactions-and-exclusivity/ Quote Bruce 2016 Cadillac ATS-V gray/black Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube

Bruce Nunnally
The SRX Crossover will be replaced with 3 vehicles eventually -- which perhaps means an SR3, SR5 and SR6? airmike
I sat down to get on and the tornado sirens went off, so had to abandon that idea!! No immediate destruction here. 1 1/2 miles north though.

Bruce Nunnally
I am thinking a 400 hp Twin turbo all-wheel drive, 122.3" wheelbase luxury-size 3,700 lb CT6 will be a fun Cadillac. Even though I am drawn to the light and tossable ATS, the much bigger CT6 will weigh less than an ATS-V!? Do we need a CT6-V? sure. Do we need a 3,200 lb ATS (-200 lbs) using CT6 material philosophy and a sweet 400 hp twin turbo? Bruce Nunnally
GMI quotes Johan de Nysschen http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f70/gmi-exclusive-xts-will-not-replaced-end-lifecycle-202289/ "As we move into the future refining our sedan portfolio, there will be no direct successor to the CTS. There will be no direct successor to the ATS. There is no point to renaming those cars because in the future those cars will disappear," said Johan de Nysschen at a private reveal last night for the Cadillac CT6. also, XTS one and done - no replacement after 2019. Bruce Nunnally
Speaking to AutoGuide.com at the New York International Auto Show, brand president Johan de Nysschen confirmed that the ELR will stick around in the short term, but not beyond. “The ELR will continue through its lifecycle,” he said, however, “I don’t’ think we will create a next-generation, compact, two-door, gorgeously styled alternative powertrain successor to ELR.” Autoguide: http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2015/04/cadillac-elr-to-be-axed.html Quote Bruce 2016 Cadillac ATS-V gray/black Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
cdgrinci
That's a shame (for the ELR); the only thing I could see that wasn't thought out was the outrageous price they were asking. That body style, with a gasoline engine (or a less expensive 'voltaic' powerplant) had winner on it (from day one). Bruce Nunnally
May have a late start for chat; some workers wrapping up flooring install at 6:30 ct (or so) and 30-40 min drive home in rush hour. All good if they wrapup on schedule but we'll see. Quote Bruce 2016 Cadillac ATS-V gray/black Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
