Bruce Nunnally
The new Cadillac ATS-V is ready to take on the BMW M3/M4. But how will it hold up? Power for the Cadillac ATS-V models comes from a 3.6 liter twin-turbo V6 engine making 455-hp with a maximum torque of 445 lb-ft. Mated two a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission 0 to 60 mph comes in under 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 185 mph. Cadillac Jim
The performance numbers are close enough to those of my 2011 CTS-V to be considered unimportant except for time trials or a race track. For the purposes of legal driving on the streets, this car is world-class, and out there with the best. My CTS-V has proved very docile and tractable in normal driving, with its world-class handling available full-time and the agility completed with the instant-on supercharged torque (if surprised in the Automatic shifting mode, you have to wait for the PCM to rev the engine a bit and downshift a couple of gears), it drives quite a bit like my old 427 Corvette (four-speed manual), except, of course, for more rubber on the road, ABS, Stabilitrak, TCS, etc. etc. etc. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
