Important not to Drive the Wheels off...

Recommended Posts

2002 Camaro z28 with a low compression built motor, currently running N/A, USED 9" Moser built rear with extended 1/2" studs, nuts tightened currently to 100 ft/lbs. His brother came to the rescue with some replacements, and made a pass without launching.

Initial thought was the moser axles aren't hub centric and running these wheels and acorn style lug nuts along with wheel hop = sheared studs.
After talking with the owner, it turns out the the LCA is at +9* which is directly related to the wheel hop, relocation brackets weren't installed yet, doing so will put the LCA at approximately -2*, if I understood correctly. Time to fix some geometry and he should be back at it.
