Chevelle TS-V Features CTS-V LSA Power

Houston-based tuning shop Fastlane has been busy crossing a modern-day Cadillac CTS-V with a classic ’69 Chevelle. The “Chevelle TS-V” boasts a blueprinted Chevrolet Performance 6.2L LSA CTS-V engine with upgrades resulting in 630hp, a Chevrolet Performance transmission, and a custom RodeTech suspension.

My goodness. Even the beefed-up suspension and brakes of the 396 Chevelle SS wouldn't be in the same league as those needed to provide a save platform for the LSA, particularly an LSA with Corvette ZR1 tuning (75 hp more than the CTS-V). And, the LSA motor is about 300 pounds lighter than a 396. The result is a car that I would want to watch from a safe distance, not drive. But watch I would!

That might not be possible, under much throttle.
