No repair in a bottle is going to work. I would not waste any more time or money on that car. Who knows what all the snake oil did to the cooling passages in the heads and block. You could try back flushing the heater core but if it doesn't clear up, it would need replacing which won't help the leaking head gasket.

Thanks, back flushing the heater core may be logical step before junking it out.

My response should have had the preface: If you are not going to repair the engine properly, I would not waste any more money on it.
