xyxuhy
I have a '96 Deville. Last week I looked outside and noticed the brake lights were on and the car has been off for hours. I went out there and pressed the brake pedal and they went off. Then two days ago I go to leave and all power has been drained. I am assuming the brake lights stayed on again and killed the battery. Does anyone know why they would be staying on? It's all brake lights including the 3rd light on the back dash. Thanks in advance.
Texas Jim
Sounds like either a bad brake light switch or it needs adjusting...
rockfangd
I second that. Look above the brake pedal on the arm and you will see the switch. It may be loose and sticking on GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
