Do they no longer put the electronic suspension in the 08 Cadillac?

The Platinum Edition (formerly the Performance Edition) has the Magnetic Ride Control.

None of the other models have it.

Magnetic Ride Control is different than the electronic struts that had variable dampening

Magnetic Ride Control is on the Corvette, some STS's and the model mentioned above, but its the TOP of the suspension pyramid.

My guess is that GM got rid of the electronic struts due to EXPENSE of replacing them as the car aged

BUT these cars do still have stabilitrac, traction control and ABS

Before you condemn Cadillac, look on the RPO code list on the bottom of your spare tire cover. If you see "F45" or "F55", you have an active suspension.

JimD...

I don't think F45 is an option anymore and the F55 is the MIRC...
