ronalddts
The rear parking sensors on my 2000 DTS start to beep when there is nothing behind me. Don't do it all the time but sometime. Any help would be appreciated.
Texas Jim
Check to make sure they are really clean. If dirt or something gets on them... they will do that. They "SEE" the dirt and think it is something behind the car. Also check the wiring / connectors in the bumper..make sure they are plugged in good. 93SixtySpecial
Mine did that on my 02 Seville also from time to time. Usually it was just road grime that got on them. Sometimes they would spaz out and there was nothing on them. Not sure what that was about. -Dusty- 2006 Cadillac DTS Glacier Gold Tri-Coat with 175,000 miles 1993 Cadillac Sixty Special Gold Mist with 185,000 miles
Ranger
I think they beep if you back up over a certain predetermined speed (not sure what that is). I seem to recall mine doing that when I back out of my driveway (120' long).

I remember reading that somewhere. -Dusty- 2006 Cadillac DTS Glacier Gold Tri-Coat with 175,000 miles 1993 Cadillac Sixty Special Gold Mist with 185,000 miles
