Dr.Fiero
Specifically, for my '98 STS with the Bose sound system - mostly the R/F door, but I'd take a pair just the same. Mine was 'over used/abused' by the previous owner, and has twisted it's tube - so it scrubs on the magnet. I grabbed one at the wreckers out of a 2001 w/bose head unit before I looked at mine. Totally different!

Dr.Fiero
Thanks... I've also sent an email off to Bose themselves regarding TSB #00-08-44-003 "(Apr 19, 2000) Distorted/Noisy Sound from LH/RH Front S/D Radio Bose® Speaker Assembly (Replace Front S/D Radio Bose® Speaker Assembly)1998-2000 Cadillac Seville with RPO UX9" Never know - might be able to score a freebie off 'em! Otherwise, I'll look into getting this one re-coned.
Dr.Fiero
WTF - drag this message up from the dead.... I ended up getting in touch with a nice lady at Bose. No freebie, but almost: $40 (shipped?) each. Way better than ~$175 each from a GM dealer up here! "you would need to mail a USD money order $40.00 each for part number 182055-002 to : Patty Bolack Bose Corporation 688 Great Road Stow, MA 01775 and I will ship the parts out through UPS.Thank you for contacting Bose Corporation.
