bigstud909
Just bought a 2001 Eldorado and I love the car. After I changed the plugs front and back, it purred like a kitten. But when i went to test drive it, i noticed that the speedometer was way off. I took it on the freeway to adjust it to no avail. Can someone please help. bigstud909
Problem solved. During the spark plug change, i had to unhook alot of hoses, wires and sensors, it just took time for it to recalibrate. Thanks
Cadillac Jim
Make sure it's not reading kph instead of mph. There is an Imperial/Metric toggle in the dashboard displays. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
