Certainly his supporters did, and may have even been acting on his behalf, but that seems like a publicity nightmare that any half-intelligent president would give a wide berth. For all his faults, Obama doesn't strike me as stupid enough to dabble in this matter, nor does he strike me as a rabid black supemacist who would buy into that "cause" and jump to the aid of the Black Panthers. Remember when Howard Dean first claimed there was a "culture of corruption" within the Bush administration? And remember leading up to the 2006 congressional elections when Nancy Pelosi promised to end this culture of corruption if Democrats won a majority in the House and Senate. Well...She lied! Surprise...Surprise! Now corruption under Pelosi and Obama is much worse. We needent look any further than the health care fiasco with Democrats shamelessly bribing, promising favors, treating Americans differently depending on what state we live or if we belong to a union.
