adallak
When I bought my Fleetwood last September the windshield washer did not work. Because there was voltage at the connector, I just replaced the pump. Yesterday the new one stopped working. Checked the voltage and it was fine. Tested the pump with an alternative source and it was fine too. Reconnected/disconnected the connector three times - nothing changed. Only after some ten reconnections everything was back to normal. Tested the old pump and it appeared to be fine as well. The lesson learned. Do not try to refresh connections by reconnecting two-three times. It may take more than that! It was just a washer, imagine the same thing happens to MAP, MAF, ECT, etc. So, try to refresh connectors first, then move to replacing parts. Texas Jim
Excellent advice. I usually (probably like most people)..just do it a few times.
