99 Seville STS Cabin Air Filter change

Recommended Posts

They are above and to the right of the accelerator. There are 3 interlocked stacked filters. Pull one out and the next drops down. Pull it and another drops down. You're in for a real treat. Pulling them is MUCH easier than installing. You might want to consider leaving them out.

Will this one fit my car? (wix 24874)

I'll try getting the old ones out and back in... if it works I'll order the new ones and change them :)

Can it cause any damage by leaving them out?

Chris

Yeah, that's the right one. Good idea to try to install the old one first to know what you are in for. TIP: Spray the interlocking joints with silicone spray.

Most cars do not have a cabin filter. If you drive with the windows down you basically don't have one. When you get out of the car and walk away, you don't have one (unless you wear a mask), so no, it won't hurt a thing to leave them out if you choose to.
