jimhinton
hi, my car wrecked in the rain, damage insludes the entire instrument panel. The wrecking yard tells me they have a listing for 'analog' and 'digital' instrument panels. it is my understanding all dts and dhs caddy from 2000 - 2005 were the digital that displays 'what looks like an analog tach and speedometer. in any case, the the mileage be the new panel or the old panel? thanks for your prompt response(s) regards ps is this a 'hard' job involving many special caddilac tools? thx
KHE
The base Deville had a digital dash - bar graph temp and fuel gage and digital speed display. I think the DHS also had the same cluster. The DTS had the analog package which has a fuel and temperature gage as well as tach and speedometer. Bruce Nunnally
Please also check with http://rockauto.com and http://gmotors.com so you know what a 'new' part costs. This can help judge the 'deal' on the recycled parts. I suppose you will have to send the pod off to be recalibrated to the current vehicle mileage?
