T91 Lamp Cornering - Delete

^Tom^

Recommended Posts

hi

my 1999 sts (export version) have the option code T91 Lamp Cornering - Delete.

what "delete" mean?

if i can reprogram it, can i reprogram it by my self or only with a tech2?

the same with

T62 Lighting Daytime Running - Delete

is the electronic in it or not?

at my 1996 i could change the LDR but it was a domestic version and not a export version.

regards

tom

"Delete" means that a feature that would normally be on the car is not there.

It may have something to do with laws in other countries where cornering lamps or daytime running lamps are illegal, so, they delete the items on the export models.

it is possible to acitvate or deactivate the DRL in the system.

in my case the fuse for the DRL system also build in.

abotu the corner lamps; i can not see the wire to any lamp in front of the engine at this car......

i have to wait until i have the shop/service manual for this car.

I would leave the lamp in the socket as a plug to keep dirt out of the rear of the reflector.

Options that are supported by the modules are added and deleted in the Overrides section of the FSM. Someone with an export FSM needs to step in here and tell how to do this. I suggest to ^Tom^ that he get an FSM for his car.

Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
