WarrenJ
http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0,21...5005369,00.html "It would encourage people to reduce their sewage output by taking shorter showers, recycling washing machine water or connecting rainwater tanks to internal plumbing to reduce their charges,'' Professor Young said. "Some people may go as far as not flushing their toilet as often because the less sewage you produce, the less sewage rate you pay.'' Sounds about right to me. Folk will flush less. On the bright side, they won't be bothered by pesky neighbors. Crap! Hope they don't live next to me! There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
Texas Jim
After reading the article...that is the way I am charged for sewage. My sewage charge is based on my total water usage. In the summer time, when I use my lawn sprinkler...my sewage charge goes up also.
