He's pretty much right with what he says. Obama is an extraordinarily dangerous socialist which is the main reason why I dislike him INTENSELY. But he also mentions that McCain is inept. He's right on both accounts. This is going to be the toughest election in history, I think. The wrong person in office and this country is finished.

We need to pick the best of these two flawed candidates. I think its necessary to go for the candidate you trust to defend this country, one who loves this country and thinks that it is inherently good, and does not apologize for it to Europe, and one who has some sort of a track record to scrutinize.

I am not interested in voting for a Hollywood front/empty suit or one that is packaged or protected by the liberal media or one who wears a flag pin because its politically expediant.

Think about this, in college, I played basketball. I transferred from a 2 year school to a 4 year school and went to see the coach and to see what aid I could get. He told me son, you are the wrong color, if you were black, I could give you a boat load of money, I was like, HUH? That is not discrimination?, he said that is the harsh truth. This was 1974. How do you think I felt? I proceeded to quit basketball and get 3 jobs to stay in college and took loans that I paid for 10 years. My experience with the guys who got the MONEY was that they partied their butts off, smoked urb, stayed in bed not going to class, got laid and FLUNKED OUT, we used to have a NEW BASKETBALL team twice a year because the CORE who got all of the money FLUNKED OUT. I am SICK and TIRED of hearing how the so called have NOTS don't get anything, reverse discrimination has been RAMPANT for years and they have done little with it. The ones who do something with it are considered sell outs! And NOW they want to transfer MORE wealth and destroy this country.

We are ALL born EQUAL at birth, from that point on it's every man for themselves.

Teachers, police, fire unions, US Military all work for a living. What I think Obama is heading towards is turning back the clock to the 1960's and 1970's when you had just about everyone on welfare. I suspect there are a lot of "groups" who are siding with him because they're looking forward to plenty of handouts and freebies. Not on my tax dollar.

As for social security, medicaid and medicare, I pay for these out of my paycheck so yes, I'm entitled to them when I need them. They are called "insurance" for a reason.

The Federal Reserve needs to go away and quickly. Religions need to be taxed IF they are going to get involved in politics. I believe the USA is the only country that does not tax religion. Perhaps we need to rethink this considering how much money organized religion sits on and never bothers to share with the very people they claim to be helping. If you're in the business of gathering donations to help the poor then you better well be spending ALL those donations on the poor otherwise it's income and you should be taxed on it.

I assume you mean the American Medical Association when you refer to AMA? If that's the case all I can say is that doctors who are educated in the USA spend enormous amounts of money on their education and they should be paid a decent salary but when I hear of people dying because they don't have money for cancer treatment then I think that yes, there should be adjustments to the system. People around the world who enjoy the benefits of modern medicine tend to forget, even in their socialist environment, that most medical discoveries are made here in the USA by companies who earn a profit and because of this profit, they are able to invest in research. People who really need help should get it, but I suspect that Obama is going to pull the old trick of giving away money to those who don't need it because by doing so, he's buying votes.

The house and senate should not be allowed to retire on full pay and full benefits. Let them retire like everyone else does, on social security and medicare and only AFTER they have worked 25 plus years like everyone else. You'll see just how quickly social security and medicare benefits improve if this were the case.

Democracy or Socialism is in the eye of the beholder. IMO, Democracy is the way. However,

decisions disguised as Democracy, that continue the privilege of the few, at the expense of the majority, is NOT Democracy.

Taxpayers will continue to foot the bill. Big money WILL be behind the next Prez.

Call it welfare, or ..... I'd rather see OUR money spent in OUR country, PERIOD. It will be spent one way or another.

Democracy is good. The question has always been, can democracy AND capitalism exist side-by-side? The answer is NO because if capitalism is allowed to run amok you get what you have today. If you start regulating capitalism you end up with something that's socialist-like.

I'd rather see our money spent in our country as well. So you and I also agree with Ron Paul since he wants to get rid of most foreign aid and put the money back into building schools, hospitals, roads, bridges, etc. He wants to spend the money rebuilding America. He wants to eliminate the Federal Reserve and he wants to repeal the Income Tax laws.
