Babydon
Just got the error today. Came on after I cleaned my car... After washing I parked her on an incline lot. I put the car in neutral and pressed the P brake so that I can clean around the shifter and ashtray. When I put her back in gear the SERVICE STABILITY SYS came on. I turned off the car and back on - error gone. Later on in the evening it came back on. What usually causes this error to pop up? Is it high priority? Thanks team Caddy! JasonA
I bet it's the steering wheel position sensor. This is apparently not all that uncommon, and the Cadillac guidance even says that if the code comes on intermittently that it's not a cause for replacement. It's apparently something sporadic that can happen. I've had it to come on with my '01 STS also. It's only come on once since I've owned it.
