DTC PC1611

Recommended Posts

I took a trip to Philadelphia yesterday and coming back today I got a SES (service engine soon) light and the PC1611 code.

I looked at a Delphi tech paper and found that this is related to the suspension. Since I have passive struts, isn't this a moot point? Anyone know what causes this code? Thanks, Mike

P1611 Loss of CVRTD Serial Data

CVRTD == Continuously Variable Real Time Damping. There is a module that controls your RSS and it has lost data to the IPM. Check the purple wire between the IPM and the RSS module.
