I love the Cadillac XLR-V

Audi R8 Website

Right out of I ROBOT. This is the definition of Sexy. This car to me is outstanding. An 8,250 red-line?, I would need professional driving lessons immediately, Read the technical and performance specs and play with the colors and interiors. The web site makes the car very appealing.

Impressive ads, but any of the V-series will blow it away on the street.

Jim, you know I have read this a couple of times and every time I come away thinking, you sound so much like an adolesent here.. Yeaaaa, but Caddy is still faster, so there  Listen if it makes you feel better, my SECOND stop is for an XLR-V. I just like the look of the Audi, it is so easy on the eyes and flowing (even though Top Gear is not a fan of its lines. I personally don't like a light colored 'blade' on it, it does truncate its lines

To be fair, here is some equal time for the XLR-V, pretty nice also but he does not like it..

I like to watch these Top-Gear videos, cause I think those guys are funny. The results of their "tests" have to be taken not too seriously, I think.

This kind of driving has nothing to do with real life, and there's much more to a car than cornering speed or 1/4 mile times.

There definiteley IS a differende in build quality when you examine a Cadillac or an Audi or BMW, but the question is: does it matter?

In real life, in everyday driving, I want a dependable car, which is not making me aggressive, yet has enough power to escape a potentially dangerous situation.

If I'd like to, it should go 130 mph+ but still being reasonably quiet and comfortable. And after all, what's the use of the best fitting glovebox door if the car leaves you stranded beside the road?

If I could squeeze more miles to the gallon out of my SLS (which is doing very well for this size of car and engine), it would be the ideal car.

Just my 2 ct

Thanks for your perspective Stefan. Coming from someone who CAN do 130 legally, its credible.
