stsjoe
If they were nice and neat when you put them away the year before why does it look like a #%@$&* rats nest when you take them back out of the box back to your normal programing Joe
BodybyFisher
Ditto Joe Why is it that I can plug them in in my living room and they work beautifully even if I shake them, and when I get them on the roof and plug them in, they don't? I had the same problem w.r.t. oudoor lights. I about gave up until I added a little cowbell to the plug Works every time! 2007 DTS Performance - 50K As a matter of fact, I am driving 70 MPH in a phone booth. Klr Ontherd
Just got some of those LEDs. Gotta say a bit of a rats nest even new. My plan is to put each strand away in one original box. Then put all the boxes in a bigger box. Hopin that will eliviate some pain next year. Am quite happy with them so far. Have heard some say that even when its dark there is very little illumination, but ours are quite bright. Might be cause we got the Nomas. Theyve been makin lights for years so should know what they're doing. The bulbs are non replacable. But are not made of glass, have no filament, so are virtually unbreakable. 5 year warannty as long as you have the reciept to bring back to where you purchased them. And cost pennies to opperate compared to standard lights. Round $15 Can a strand for the Nomas. Price works Save money on hydro And no hassle tryin to figure which bulb is out Hope my storage system for next year works lol
The Fred
I love the LED lights. Cool burning, long lasting, they don't fade. I put some out last Christmas and the colors are richer and brighter than any conventional light set I've ever seen. MerryChristmas Be a Capitalist or work for one. Work for a Capitalist or be one. epricedright
I used to feel your pain! Here's what I do now. I coil them up and twist tie them, then put each strand in a big ziplock baggie. Then throw them all together in a box. Keeps them neat and tangle free. I even label the baggie as to where they go. You always think you'll remember where they go, but come next Christmas.....Not! Works for me! I'll have to try the LED's next year.
GreenMachine
Picture of my tree this year with all newly bought bulbs, most of mine are not so nice after the basement flooded a bit with that power outage: [click to make bigger] Rolling them onto old magazines always work well for me for storage.
