msb113
Hi again all Can anyone tell me how many rows are in this radiator? Found a crack in a rib on the plastic tank and it is warping out and slowly leaking, at least it is high up on it... thought I should hear some opinions on how many row radiator I should put in and what the original is. Thanks Guys Mark
BodybyFisher
Do a search on ACDELCO.COM and if you search for your car, you will notice that they provide a photo of the CORE, it looks like it is about 1 inch thick. When I replaced my radiator on my 91 I replaced it with a AC DELCO. I originally replaced it with an aftermarket unit and the cooler lines did not line up. adallak
I remember Matt successfully installed an aftermarket on his 92 Seville for some $150 (the radiator only). You might want to email him for contacts. The Fred
Go to a radiator shop! They can recore, replace tanks, just about anything you need! Nothing beats OEM when it comes to radiators unless it's a performance application! MerryChristmas Be a Capitalist or work for one. Work for a Capitalist or be one. Thanks for the reply, The Car has 120,000 on it and I myself would feel better knowing I put in a brand new Radiator... As for OEM parts... Too Late, with all the parts I have put into this car in the past 6 months, I figure another 6 months every part will be brand new ... BodybyFisher
I had a 91. I know exactly what you mean. I loved the car, I really did. I did a ton of work on it. Then the tranny went, I had it rebuilt and the car was never the same. If you have one of those fake convertible tops keep an eye on it, my car went from beautiful to crap box in a second when it exploded off the roof after the leading edge broke loose and caught the wind at 65 mph.... Listen for rattling... They wanted $2700 to replace it!!! If the Car did not look so good I would most likely get rid of it, but it looks great and still rides very nice and 120,000 on a 91 is pretty darn good I do not have the the fake convertable roof, but I have seen one get ripped to shreds on the highway... not pretty Until the engine or trans blows up I will keep her running Well, will throw the radiator in Sunday and then will make the next schedule to fix her 3 weeks from now... nothing else is wrong with her, just planning for the future... my wife says that is not positive thinking... I said hell it aint, I positively know something else will break on her and I will have to fix it... I'm Pretty positive about that? lmao Thanks for all the help and info all Mark
