wanobi
GRRRR!! The plunger will NOT fully retract. It was fully retracted when I got it......hmmm maybe if I unscrew the screw I can get it to fully retract. I started the car eased the throttle stop off of the plunger, so I could depress the plunger it moved slightly but not fully retracting. What is wrong? Fully retracted means it does not move any more. If in that position it touches the throttle lever, screw it in to obtain the necessary gap. I even had to cut the plunger screw off to get it right. Ok got it retracted, adjusted it to .060...hooked everything back up....idled good....took it out for spin.....started raining....no crazy reving...brought it back home let it idle in park for a bit...still good....tomorrow morning we will see what it is like...gotta feeling it will be better. wanobi
latest update. When I set the .06 from plunger end to throttle stop, the plunger was NOT all the way retracted. It took a couple try's to finally get it fully retracted and what a difference it makes. It is a much happier car!! Thanks for the help on this!! I have a new question, but I will read through the archives first to see if I can find the answer.
