Hi to everyone!! I am new to this site and it seems like a really good one. I just bought my first Cadillac and love it! It is a '93 Seville STS. I have been looking around the forums and was just curious how to check for codes and clear them. I am new to all this so please explain how I go about this if you could! Thanks for any help!!

Welcome aboard TS. We're a good bunch of people here and get along well. :)

We do however, like to tease each other sometimes, but its all in good spirit :D

If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

Yes, welcome!

I hope you're trouble-free, but if not, you've come to the right place.

You'll find a congenial lot here anxious to help anyone with problems.

Regards,

Warren

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

This link will tell you how to read the codes:

http://www.caddyinfo.com/readingcodes.html

This link will tell you what the codes are:

Or, you can just post the codes here and people will tell you what they mean. If there is any problem, they will tell you how to address it.
