Spurlee
Is there supposed to be some play in these? Both of them on my '96 are just a bit loose - is this normal? Scott 1996 El Dorado 2006 STS 2000 Corvette
Ranger
Yes, there is a little bit of play. Just be sure the rubber grommet is intact.

BodybyFisher
Spurlee, mine are loose also. Someone here recently replaced theirs and it stopped that clunk that you feel when you are driving at highway speeds when you give it gas after a coast. I get that clunk. I plan to replace mine ASAP, they are cheap at www.rockauto.com Mike Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
