davedog Posted January 24, 2004 Report Share Posted January 24, 2004 I have a 92 ETC and was just wondering, when I lock/unlock the doors via my keyfob, is my car supposed to beep, or have the lights blibk or anything to confirm that I have actually sucessfulley locked it? 95SLS Posted January 24, 2004 Report Share Posted January 24, 2004 There is a wire loose below the dash, or could be a relay. This happens to my 96 sometimes. It's a bear to fix when it is not always happeneing. The wire is in the kick panel. That's part of the personalization features that showed up in later years. On our '97s, we can set the horn to tap on a lock event.
