bschelle Posted January 8, 2006 Report Share Posted January 8, 2006 I had the theft warning so I did the resistor install and it did'nt help. When I turn the key on I hear a chattering noise from the back and I can't start it. It cranks but won't fire. I get the following codes: B1552,B1163,B2750,B2780,U1016,U1096 AND U1255. Any suggestions before my other half has my you know what cut off! I also hear a chattering by the fuse box under the hood. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ranger Posted January 8, 2006 Report Share Posted January 8, 2006 Just off the top of my head, "Chattering in the fuse box" sounds like a faulty relay. After spending 2 hours with the bypass and $80 for a new battery I replaced a 10 amp fuse and she popped right off. CHECK THE FUSES FIRST YOU IDIOT!!!!
