kcd1184
Hello all! Still on the Chrysler job. (nights still also) My brother-in law said to be carefull, that the leak I have had in the gasket of the phenolic spacer,(known to exist because of the whistle) could be very harmful to my motor. He was talking about burning a valve or something, but not being familiar with the N* ,said check it out. Any comments? Kent
KHE
Did you remove the manifold at some point to clean the EGR passages? If so, the spacer plates may not be seated properly or the intake gasket may have been torn causing a vacuum leak. You can repair the intake gasket with a small dab of hi-temp sensor safe RTV.
