BodybyFisher
I need your opinions. As you know, I have replaced my struts with passive struts. It just occurred to me that I might fail my state inspection because of a DTC code stored due to the passive struts. Does anyone know how this works. Do you only fail for emissions DTCs? JimD
Drill down on this page, Mike; the "safety inspection" is described. Looks like you should be OK as long as the struts/shocks are installed and doing what a shock should do. http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/vehsafe.htm Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE !
