Logan
Hmmm...need a diagnostic tree. 1996 STS. ABS code. Loss of ABS power diagram. Code C0063. I can have this code faxed in....just checking here first. '96 and '97s are funky. Have all the diganostic data on paper up thru 1994. And then every thing 1998 and newer on the CD/hard drive. I think the system in question is messed up due to a DUI interlock system that has been added to the car in question. I really need the wiring diagram vs. the diagnostics. Ranger
Logan, I have a '97 manual. I can't find that code in the ABS section. If a '97 will help and you can tell me were to find it I will be happy to fax it to you.
Logan
Thanks Ranger. The 1997 should have the same codes. Try looking under any IPC codes or communication codes. On the Tech 2 it showed 'loss of ABS communication' and the C0063 code. There were a couple of other 'loss of data' codes also. But I dont have those codes sitting in front of me right now....... Ranger
Logan, I can't find any 0063 code anywhere, in any chapter. It's 3 martini's after 12 and I gotta go to bed. I'll check back in the morning if you have any other ideas on where to look. You have helped me out in the past and I would like to repay the favor but I am drawing a blank so far. Scotty
Logan, I just emailed you three pages from the ABS section (DTC 63), if you need anything else from the manual I included my phone number in the email, Mike Early on sailors navigated by the stars at night and the North star became the symbol for finding ones way home. Once you know where the Northstar is you can point your ship in the right direction to get home. So the star became a symbol for finding ones way home or more symbolically even finding ones path in life.

Ranger
That '96 manual must be different than my '97 as I could find no such references. I even searched again this morning. Glad Mike was able to help. Sorry I couldn't Logan.

(codes 72 and 77), Thanks! Where does one get the CD? Early on sailors navigated by the stars at night and the North star became the symbol for finding ones way home.
