OldCadTech
First check to make sure the speaker adjustments are correct. With the door open, turn on the headlights, does the warning chime sound normal? If the chime does not sound check the connections at the amp. If it sounds normal the problem would be in the radio and/or wiring to the amp. I think @Bruce Nunnally is the go to radio guy THERE IS ALWAYS ENOUGH TIME TO DO THE JOB RIGHT - THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH TIME TO DO THE JOB AGAIN !!! rockfangd
I wonder if your speakers could be blown. I would try disconnecting the battery and leaving it off for a minute. Then see if it works again. Weirdly enough I have seen it work. GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
