MARK 99STS
Hi all, been a long time since I have been on the forum. I have a 2011 V Coupe that I track. I have been using Performance Friction pads that they made as a prototype but they no longer make them. Does anybody else track their car and any suggestions on track pads? Have tried Hawk DTC 70's but went thru them in a weekend and don't stop as well as Performance friction pads. MARK 99STS TURBOCHARGED
Cadillac Jim
Check the Brembo web site. They have several grades for brake pads, beginning with high-performance street, track upgrade, and a different pad for every type of racing from sprint to endurance. I looked at their PDF catalogs and didn't see Cadillac (or other OEM Brembo users), which may mean that they expect dealers to sell the pads, but I would contact Brembo and identify the precise pad that best fits your plans for the car, then ask them where to get them. http://www.brembo.com/en/car/Pages/default.aspx -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
