I've tried all obd 1 self diagnostic procédures,warmer and off buttons,paperclip, sometimes the panel shows the "temperature 24 degrees" or "oïl change" or sometimes the screen is blank, but in finale the other panel beneath always shows "system problem". for information the a/c compressor is dead and a/c system is not yet rebuild. The clusters dont shows the rpm and speed,or the gearposition(only sometimes) This eldorado was not running when i bought it,, i've rebuild totaly the engine and the gearbox ,the engine start fine and gears seems ok. winterset Posted January 22, 2014 Report Share Posted January 22, 2014 You are going to have to troubleshoot the electrical gremlins that can be just about anywhere in the circuits. I would start with the easiest. Check the fuses and behind the fuses for corrosion. Maybe a pinched wire during the mechanical repairs? Did this problem exist before the work? KHE Posted January 22, 2014 Report Share Posted January 22, 2014 It sounds like the digital dash has a problem. In the US, a Delco Electronics shop can repair the digitial display. I don't know if there would be a Delco Electronics shop in Belgium though.
