1994 Seville STS 4.6 Northstar won't start

Recommended Posts

The first thing to do is to run the on-board diagnostic (OBD) codes. You start by turning the key on and pressing the A/C buttons OFF and PASS WARMER simultaneously for a few seconds until all the dash lights come on like you just turned on the key, then releasing them. Watch the driver information center (DIC) on the dashboard where the messages come, and you will see the car's computer list the OBD codes. Take notes and post the codes here.

Please post more information about what is happening. Does the car turn over? If not, do you hear a click? Does it turn over but not start?

Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.

More details please. I am making a BIG assumption here. U changed alternator which has no bearing on a good batteries ability to crank motor. Ur battery is good, but motor will not crank since u changed starter! What do u mean it will not start? No crank? Do u get any security codes? Or messages?
