Paul S
I am replacing the radiator in my '99 Seville STS due to a leak in in the end tank. How does one release the upper transmission coolant line where it attaches to the radiator? There is a hex closest to the radiator and a plastic snap on cover just rearward of the hex. Any suggestion in this matter would be greatly appreciated
rockfangd
pop the plastic cover off the hex nut and there is a clip you need to remove to get the line out. the hex portion stays in the radiator. Look at the new radiator and it is self explanitory. Lower is the same. Have fun with the bolt that retains the ac lines to the driver side of the radiator, Dont forget it. PITA. Paul S
Thank you so much for your input Rockfangd, I finally had an opportunity to take another look at it last night and realized that had I looked at it the first time with my reading glasses on, I may not have had to post this question in the first place. The clip offered little problem to remove and I am well on my way to finishing the entire job. Thanks again, Paul S
