smatch77
My STS would start this morning all of a sudden. The night before it started just fine. It turns over but it will not stay started. Any suggestions? I've never had a problem with it before.
Bruce Nunnally
Any messages on the dash? Plenty of gas in the car? You can call onstar and ask them if there are any trouble codes. Which engine is it? No messages are on the dash. It would turn over but not remain started. It almost sounds like gas isn't reaching where it needs to be. In the process my battery has went totaly dead, it will not hold a charge. So the battery is being replaced. I got it towed to a Cadillac dealer. There is gas in the car. Ranger
You need a fuel pressure gauge. You can borrow one from Autozone if you don't want to buy one. Locate the fuel service port on the fuel rail (looks just like a tire valve). Remove the cap and screw the gauge hose on it. Turn the key on. You should see at least 40 psi.
