Dasher
I wanted to get new tires before Winter and was thinking of Michelin, of course; but I'm not sure how long I can resist the lure of the '05 STS so decided to look at Goodyear. I have had them in the past and they wore well but I always thought they had too much road noise. Discount Tire assured me that the Goodyear Integrity was longer wearing and much quieter so I gave them a try. They've been on the car 2000 miles as of today and I'm very satisfied with them. They ARE very quiet.
Scotty
Thanks for the information about the Goodyears Early on sailors navigated by the stars at night and the North star became the symbol for finding ones way home. Once you know where the Northstar is you can point your ship in the right direction to get home. So the star became a symbol for finding ones way home or more symbolically even finding ones path in life.
