OynxSTS
Nine days!? LOL try 22 days!! Well that took almost exactly 3 weeks... But the car is fixed and well. The bill is in the car, I will post the part that they replaced, later... For sure There was one connector and a "tube"... hmmm? But the really interesting line on the repair slip was "After replacing the connector A/C still inoperative, did a full reset of the HVAC control with Tech II and system operational delivering 59* cold air" Hmmm I wonder want a "Full reset of the HVAC controller" is? Any way, I'm happy, "fully satisfied" (as I will complete on the dealers survey) and the total cost to replace the connector, the mystery "tube" and to reset the HVAC controller was less then $300 Canadian. (Probably the world's most expensive Key Fob programming... but at least I found a dealer that I can work with and that I trust (even if they don't have ANY sort of shuttle service ) The tubing part number is 12355010... Any ideas what the heck that is? Easin' down the highway in a new Cadillac, I had a fine fox in front, I had three more in the back ZZTOP, I'm Bad I'm Nationwide Greg

OynxSTS
....The tubing part number is 12355010... Any ideas what the heck that is? The parts look-up sites I use describe that as TUBING, SH. With a price of $2.88. That's all I know. My dealer used 2 of them... charged me $7.46 (CAN) for the pair... I wonder of the "SH" stands for shield... or if the SH stands for "shhh. pssst... its a secret kind of tube' Doesn't matter, the A/C blows cold, didn't have to buy a new DIM, ended up costing about 1/4 of what I had feared.... I'm Happier then a pig in mud. EDIT... NOPE the SH stands for "shrink!" it is heat shrink tubing... and pricey heat shrink tubing too. More Edit... The conector replaced is the teeny tiny one on the sensor.. NOT the big blue one on the DIM... interesting since I could measure a good signal through that connector... Hmmm looks more and more like dealer #1 did something to the DIM to force it into an "error state"...
