joeb
I was riding my bike the other day and was standing at a corner when a mercedes CLK 430 came zipping by and as he accelerated away i was supprised by how nice his exhaust sounded. almost like a sewing machine, nice pleasant humm. I know the northstar motor and mercedes motor are fairly similar. is it all in the exhaust? my STS sounds nice but i gotta believe the rear wheel drive setup on the mercedes makes for a better flowing, more tuned exhaust. maybe its time for a XLR. KHE
How would RWD have anything to do with the exhaust sound????? Kevin '93 Fleetwood Brougham '05 Deville '04 Deville 2013 Silverado Z71
joeb
try looking under the hood or even under the vehicle once in a while. sheesh. are you saying the flipping single cat/single resonator system with its cute little rear Y-pipe is anything like what is available on a rear drive car. such as BMW 5 series or lexus 430 maybe. I'm talking about a true dual exhaust. go to magnaflow or borla or flowmaster and see what they say about system design.
