JACK
I have a 99 sts, last night I opened drivers door and no lights came on inside the car, also neither the remote or the inside buttons will open the fuel door or the trunk, good thing it has a key for the trunk (unlike my dts). I'm hoping that it's just a fuse, but with my luck it will be much worse. Has anyone else ran into this problem, if so any advice would be appreciated? Texas Jim
Check the VALET SWITCH in the glove compartment.
JACK
Thanks Jim but the valet switch is in the off position. All indications would point to valet switch, except for the interior lights not coming on when the door is opened.

BostonETC97
I once had this happen. I pulled the codes, and recall having (I think?) an IPC code set as current. I reset the codes, and the locks/lights worked once again. Sadly, I don't remember exactly what the code was, but I do recall that clearing it brought everything back to normal.
