JasonA
And the factory is coded into your VIN, in the 7th character from the right. You have a six digit serial number at the end, and the character before that (usually a letter, sometimes a number) is the factory of manufacture. Post it here and I (or one of us) can tell you which factory that was. Jason(2001 STS, White Diamond) "When you turn your car on...does it return the favor?" ByStorm
Thanks guys, the 7th digit from the right is a "U" and the date was 03/01 Thanks again, ByStorm
JasonA
Thanks guys, the 7th digit from the right is a "U". "U" is the Hamtramck, MI plant. I believe all the FWD Cadillacs were produced there. The Catera was somewhere else I imagine, and the Fleetwood and Escalades were produced in Arlington, TX if I recall.
