altbass
Hi I have a 1998 Deville Concours and I am looking to buy pre-made already bent brake and fuel lines, does anybody know where I can purchase them. I have searched and can't find any that are pre bent at auto parts places There 3/16th lines. Hoping to stay away from dealer. Also what would you recommend as an alternative that would still fix the lines that are rusting out. I recently went to the dealer and they wanted $700.00 to replace 1 brake line, from the front to the back flex hose, there absurd. I have my own mechanic that will replace all brake and fuel lines if I can find them. Thanks very much

lothos
The brake lines you can pick up at Checker Auto, Auto Zone, places like that. Brake lines are really cheap. Never replaced the fuel lines, not sure where to get them locally but www.rockauto.com would have it. If you click the link at the bottom of this message there is a 5% off discount code you can use. Thomas2379
In all honesty, if you have a good mechanic, then he should know how to properly bend tubing. GET STAINLESS STEEL if you are around salty climates. Its really easy to do, and will save you a ton of money. Any major parts stores will carry the tubing. Just my 2 cents... Just my 2 cents... those steel brake lines bend by hand. I just finished changing my rear brake lines yesterday. All of the fittings are the same size, but on my 95 STS one of the fittings going into the proportioning valve was bigger. Had to pick them up at Auto Zone, they had a 5 pack. I can post the exact size if anyone is interested. I thought that was weird, not sure why they would use one odd sized fitting.
