Andy_mpena Posted June 13, 2009 Report Share Posted June 13, 2009 I have 92 Deville I replaced the iac idle air control valve and had it the idle set by the dealer ($100) everything was Good until morning and once again the idle in park revs high cruising at 30 and will start accelorating you stop at the light but the motor doesn't I spend everything on this car and do not know where this any help is gladly appreciated thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It sounds like the closed throttle switch is defective - there is a ton of information in the archives on troubleshooting the ISC.
