Hello again everyone!

Hope you are all having a nice evening...

I have no idea if this thing has ever been changed in the car.....

Will it make a difference in the blowing pressure? Also where is it and how much does it cost...and how often should it be changed?

Thanx so much in advance..

Nick

If it is stopped up, then yes, it will make a difference in blowing pressure.

It is located to the right of the accelerator pedal and up behind everything.

I have never changed one, but from what I have heard, it is a REAL PITA to change.

I think that there are THREE filters that go there, and that they interlock together..

It should be changed when it gets dirty ...just like any other filter. :D:D:D

Most certainly in the blowing 'volume'; can't speak to the 'pressure'.

Removing the HVAC filter is a PITA. Installing a new filter is a major PITA!

FWIW, the factory installed filter is still in place in my '98 model Seville. And if I ever get motivated to remove my HVAC filter (doubtful), I would leave the filter out of the system.
