PoohBearCale
I am looking at owning my first cadillac. I was wondering what problems to look for in a seville or deville 1999+ with over 100,000 miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Ranger
Stay with a 2000 or newer. There where improvements made that make a head gasket failure much less likely.

Bruce Nunnally
Do not buy any used car without a thorough checkout by an independent mechanic. Cadillacs have onboard diagnostics which will show you any problems the computer is reporting. See Reading codes Expect any car with 100K+ miles to have issues, need maintenance, and have stuff break. If you are looking for a vehicle with no issues to deal with you need to buy a newer model still under warranty.
