Delta
My trunk is leaking in the corners near the rear window, is this a common occurrence and is there a remedy?
RalPh
VERY common, I think water was found to be migrating UNDER the trunk seal gasket and the remedy was to completely pull the gasket off the metal "flange" it sits on, all around, and re-glue back down. KHE
The leak Ralph is thinking about most often occurs on the '98-'04 Sevilles. In order to determine the source - you will need to get inside the trunk with a flashlight and then have someone spray water all over the trunk and rear window. The leak source should be evident. kens96
I had a water getting into the trunk and removing and re-gluing the trunk seal with 3M weatherstrip adhesive solved the problem. Also put some dieletic grease on the seal.

Great, thats when my electric trunk release fails, and the key doesnt work, hehe BTW, are you sealing the weatherstrip to the body of the car with the adhesive I would assume?
